I had a dream.
An angel was beside me
as the sun burst through
the window,
heating our passion.
the angel spread
her thighs
I ate breakfast.
I held her tightly
drifting
back
to sleep,
caressing her
perpetually in my dream,
feeling her
shiver expectantly.
I awoke in immeasurable
darkness, rain dripping
outside,
inside,
I groped for my angel
but she had gone,
out of my life,
dreams,
expectations.
She was gone
and nothing I said
could bring her back.
I went back to sleep
but my dreams were empty,
cold,
frigid,
barren.
I screamed for relief
but no angel was there
to comfort me.
