Walking alone in an empty garden,
I listen for a sign of life
from inanimate objects,
Dead and lifeless, I smash the
window of a Cadillac
screaming in the stifling sun,
Stares greet my presence,
I raise my middle finger
and head to the nearest cemetery.
Tombstones stare at me,
I knock them over
waiting for a bit of life,
a ghost or two
to shake this inner confidence,

All I want is a little life
